AI-Native Coding Night: Build with TRAE & Z.ai @Fukuoka

On March 19th, CreatorLabo hosted AI-Native Coding Night: Build with TRAE & Z.ai @Fukuoka at Engineer Cafe in Fukuoka.

The event saw 17 participants with highly diverse backgrounds, including data scientists, AI researchers, graduate students, interpreters, VCs, and entrepreneurs.

At the beginning of the event, participants deepened their understanding by sharing how they utilize AI agents in their work and personal development. With roughly half of the participants being engineers, about one-third having experience with MCP, and less than 10% having experience using Agent Skills, it truly became a place to learn about future AI-native development together.

During the event, we made some program adjustments. Billy Qiu led the MCP hands-on session, while Tham Yik Foong introduced and conducted a hands-on session for Agent Skills. The sessions included real-time troubleshooting and supplementary explanations, providing participants with a practical and hands-on experience.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Engineer Cafe for providing the venue.
We are also deeply grateful to our tech partners, TRAE and Z.ai, who supported this event.

TRAE lowered the barrier to AI-native coding and provided valuable information and quick solutions for various errors that often occur during development.
Furthermore, Z.ai's GLM model impressed participants with its fast response times, its ability to understand user intent, and its high agent-based problem-solving and coding capabilities.

Finally, participants engaged in networking over pizza and drinks, making it a wonderful opportunity for those interested in AI-native development in Fukuoka to connect.

A sincere thank you to all participants and everyone involved who cooperated.
