Impact Tokyo Hackathon 2026

Tokyo Designcognisortiu-impact-next

March 7th at Kayabacho, Tokyo — a full day of building, collaboration, and real-world problem solving with AI.

In just one day, we brought together:

  • 70+ participants from diverse backgrounds

  • 11 teams tackling different problem areas

  • 11+ mentors from across the startup and tech ecosystem

The goal was simple: to build AI solutions that address real-world challenges.

Within a limited timeframe, teams moved quickly from early ideas to structured concepts and working prototypes. Many explored use cases across sustainability, productivity, and everyday inefficiencies — applying AI not just as a tool, but as a practical layer for solving meaningful problems.

The intensity of the one-day format pushed every team to think clearly, execute decisively, and focus on impact over perfection.

More than just a hackathon, the event became a space for collaboration, rapid experimentation, and focused problem-solving — where ideas were tested, challenged, and refined in real time.

We’re deeply grateful to the mentors for sharing their time, guidance, and insights throughout the day; to all participants for showing up with intention, energy, and commitment; and to our partners for making this initiative possible.

A huge congratulations to the winning teams:
