OPENCLAW SHOWCASE & WORKSHOP - Build with TRAE @ Tokyo
Recap of OpenClaw Showcase & Workshop - Build with TRAE @ Tokyo 🚀
What an incredible evening! Last week, we brought together 30+ AI builders, ML researchers, startup founders, and senior engineers at Minato City, Tokyo for a night of demos, deep dives, and hands-on building.

This is one of the global series of "Build with TRAE" events powered by our tech partner TRAE — a next-generation AI-native IDE that's redefining how developers work. TRAE goes far beyond code completion; it understands developer intent and enables true "Vibe Coding," turning ideas into products at a pace that genuinely surprised many in the room. A huge thank you to the TRAE team and our TRAE Fellow mentors who guided participants throughout the evening.
We were also proud to co-host with Z.ai, alongside showcase partners Agora and Rokid Corporation Ltd, each bringing something unique to the table.

Billy Qiu from CreatorLabo kicked of the event with latest update of TRAE "Since launching in 2025, TRAE has grown to over 6 million registered users globally, with adoption spanning 200+ countries. Japan ranks among the top 20 countries for active TRAE users."
Three sessions from the night:

Koki Sonoda (CEO, TechNoam Inc.) kicked things off with a demo of his "Invisible AI" pipeline built entirely with TRAE — showing how voice and vision can power hands-free, intent-driven automation. A compelling look at human-centric AI in action.

Donnie Chen (Go-To-Market Japan, Agora) then showed us how to combine TRAE's powerful coding capability with Agora's Conversational AI Engine to transform OpenClaw into a voice-native AI agent system. Real-time voice AI just got a lot more accessible.

Weiqi Zhao (Global Senior Director, Product & Engineering, Rokid Corporation Ltd) closed out the showcases by introducing AI wearable agent development with Rokid Glasses — from SDK access to deploying OpenClaw agents on smart glasses using TRAE Agent Skills. The future you can literally wear.
After the sessions, participants jumped into a 90-minute hands-on building session, choosing between a Basic Track (get your first personal AI agent running in 5 minutes) and an Advanced Track (integrating Agora voice services or Rokid hardware). The energy in the room was electric — people building, mentors supporting, ideas coming to life over wagyu sukiyaki bento.
A sincere thank you to the three speakers for sharing your work and inspiring the community. And to TRAE, Z.ai, Agora, and Rokid for partnering with us to make this happen.
CreatorLabo exists to bridge global AI innovation with Tokyo's builder community, and nights like this remind me exactly why we do it.
See you at the next one.
